The National Lottery Community Fund is very clear about the role of consultants in the application process. They do not approve of consultancies or freelance bid writers preparing or submitting applications on behalf of organisations. If the Lottery believes that your application has been written by a professional bid writer, it may be rejected.
Consultants can provide advice or deliver specific pieces of work, but if a consultancy suggests they will write or submit your application for you, our advice is to seek support elsewhere.
