Often reaching into his anthropological toolbox, Sune has 20 years’ experience working at the nexus of communications and human rights-focused international development programming. Having held managerial positions at several leading third-sector organisations he is passionate about making communications and fundraising work to further human rights and social justice. Sune has experience collaborating with partners across Europe, Asia, Africa, and Latin America. He is particularly well-versed in the Middle East and North Africa, having lived in Damascus, Beirut, and Ramallah, and having overseen complex development programmes across the region.

Assignment for International Media Support: Evaluate impact and provide recommendations for the continuation of a media development programme designed to defuse ethno-religious tensions in Sri Lanka through conflict- sensitive journalism and media sector reform.
Assignment for International Media Support: Evaluate project designed to enhance the quality and quantity of media coverage of religious minorities in Pakistan and Iraq. Write funding bid to the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs for a continuation of the project. Based on the bid the ministry decided to fund a three-year extension of the programme.
