Tom Nicholson is an award-winning freelance photographer and visual journalist, with 10 years of experience working for charities, NGOs, news agencies and newspapers, both nationally and internationally.
He provides compelling storytelling imagery for projects, websites, social media, and event coverage, as well as imagery to illustrate strategy, annual reports and corporate events.
Tom’s work includes photographing news and features for editorial and commercial clients.
He is currently a stringer for Reuters news agency, and has photographed multiple heads of state, royals, A-list celebrities and the Pope.
Recent projects include multiple three-week assignments in the Middle East for an international NGO, working for The Times newspaper on Ukrainian refugees and a self funded project to Syria.
In the charity sector, he has been commissioned by the likes of Save the Children, Humanity & Inclusion, Danish Red Cross and SPARK.
His work has been published by the New York Times, The Washington Post, the Guardian, The Times amongst others.
