Ashling is a fundraising, partnerships and communications consultant with experience helping charities and NGOs secure funding, develop strategic partnerships and strengthen donor engagement. Her expertise includes trusts and foundations, institutional funding, corporate partnerships, philanthropy, fundraising strategy and communications.

Ashling has worked with organisations in the UK and internationally across a range of causes, including gender equality, refugee and migrant rights, homelessness, health, environmental conservation and poverty alleviation. She holds a degree in International Studies, specialising in Politics.

At the Downtown Eastside Women’s Centre in Vancouver, Ashling managed corporate partnerships with an annual fundraising target of CAD$2.48 million. Her achievements included securing CAD$245,000 in corporate support for a flagship fundraising event, raising CAD$86,000 through an emergency appeal in just two weeks, and securing a CAD$110,000 annual commitment over three years from a private family foundation.

Previously, at Rowans Hospice in Hampshire, she supported fundraising across multiple income streams, contributing to an annual income budget of £7 million. Her work included generating over £50,000 through fundraising events, raising £78,000 through raffle campaigns and implementing an annual giving campaign that increased individual donor income by 13%.

At the International Tree Foundation, Ashling developed corporate partnerships supporting environmental conservation and climate resilience, securing funding commitments from Sony and other international businesses.

Alongside fundraising, Ashling brings experience in strategic communications, donor stewardship, campaign development and impact storytelling. She combines research, relationship building and clear communications to help organisations secure funding and develop long-term partnerships.
